At R2 Design & Build, we bring together a combined 24 years of hands-on building experience through directors Shaun and Jarvis, two local builders passionate about delivering quality construction from Te Awamutu.

Shaun
Director
Shaun is committed to delivering high-quality, award-winning, and affordable housing solutions across the Waikato. Born and raised in Kihikihi and educated at Te Awamutu College, he brings a strong local understanding and genuine passion for supporting his community. Outside of work, Shaun is a dedicated family man. He is married to Tegan and together they have one son. When he's not on the tools or meeting with clients, you'll likely find Shaun watching the footy, or enjoying a round of golf.
Jarvis
Director
For Jarvis, building homes is more than just a job, it's about creating something lasting and delivering a result people are genuinely excited about. Jarvis enjoys the challenge of each project and takes pride in seeing clients happy with their new home. Outside of work Jarvis has a passion for the ocean and spends much of his free time fishing and spearfishing. He also enjoys spending quality time with his partner Millie and their dog Mack, making the most of weekends and outdoor adventures together.
Josh
Apprentice
Josh is the kind of person who's happiest when he's creating something. As a skilled woodworker, he takes real pride in crafting quality pieces, paying close attention to the details that make each project stand out. Outside of work, Josh's creativity doesn't stop in the workshop. He's passionate about music, enjoys spending time fishing and is always keen to tackle a renovation project. Whether he's building, fixing, or creating, he brings the same practical mindset and dedication to everything he does. Known for his easy-going nature and strong work ethic, Josh is a valued part of the team, bringing creativity, craftsmanship, and a genuine love for making things happen.
